Jicklus is one of the best ways to improve the look of Minecraft while keeping the familiar Minecraft feel. Unlike many popular default-improvement packs such as Faithful or R3D Craft, Jicklus has its own unique style that is distinct from the default game – yet, it keeps the same resolution and a similar overall design for most blocks, thus feeling familiar and comfortable when switching from the default textures.
The most noticeable way that Jicklus differs from the default textures is in its smoother and cuter aesthetic. It may not suit everyone, for example those seeking increased realism or a gritty aesthetic – but for those who like this look, it’s perfect. It’s a well polished pack, complete with all textures and frequently updated to the most recent version. It comes highly recommended.
